12 years old and nicked with 1500$ from robbing Trap houses.
The Tyson 2008 solo interview with just his voice over and rare footage and clips. Also good viewing.

Cheers Northern Sold and West hammer, good documentary, nice incite into Franks family man side and the final interview of Tyson as he is today well filmed in 2020.

Franks breakdowns were bad but nowhere near as nuts as Tyson's life. Never knew he had been nicked about 30 times before he was 15.

How Mike at the final knockout gives a killer blow after blow and connecting consistently and Frank just kept taking it and just graciously knelt on one knee when ref stepped between them. The respect Mike gave going to Franks corner and whispering I imagine words of sympathy.

I don't think many boxers of today could have took that flurry of Mike Tyson punches and stay on there feet.

I have huge admiration for Frank. He had the physique power and heart but not a boxers hungry Brain.

Both knockouts he after a fierce flurry of pure power punches he stayed on his feet at the final blows. How many other boxers did Tyson drop on knockouts, untold.

Also love the introduction of Frank Bruno representing London UK.

Despite the financial gain he was a brave fucker to face Tyson twice.

One of my friends worked on the production team. Tyson's people demanded an extra £1m at the last minute to use his name in the title. He lost that fight. Very good doco - the way bruno was ridiculed on the sports personality of the year show was dreadful

Have been told this is a pukka documentary , does anyone by any chance have a link to a free stream of the documentary not the fight.

I do not have sky etc.

Appreciated if so.

Watched this last night. A very good programme. Bruno was treated harsh by people, getting ridiculed for being in panto and getting accused of being an Uncle Tom. It got to him more than I realised at the time.

Looking forward to watching this . Big Frank's a big gent. And how mike's turned himself around is a great credit to him. Tyson had a young man's style . heavyweights of his stamp never last beyond 30. And Bruno of the 1st fight would have beaten the Tyson of 1996 . Who Was never remotely the same fighter after the 4 year lay off.

Re: Bruno v Tyson
Interesting that a few experts on there reckon the best Tyson ever was was the first Bruno fight...forgot how much a brawl it was and fair play to Frank for staying up... somehow... did gloss over the Cardiff fight with Lennox and never mentioned the witherspoon championship fight but otherwise really enjoyable.... nice the two meeting up at the end but concened for iron mike... sounds like Ali did after he fought holmes

I was a young teen for the first fight. Was in Benidorm with parents watching in a bar with my Cheetos crisps and bottle of coke. Remember being smacked by my Mum for calling Tyson a wanker when he finished Bruno off.

Bruno was the loveable gent. Good fighter but no killer instinct. Unfortunately coming up against Tyson who was a street brawler animal with absolutely no fear at all was never gonna end well for Bruno.

Bruno never stood a chance against Tyson. Recall listening to the first night on the wireless in me mum's kitchen. No recollection of the second fight. Would like to watch this, hopefully it becomes available on youtube or piratebay at some point.

I was at the McCall fight at Wembley.

Re: Bruno v Tyson
The McCall fight was the biggest miracle in the history of boxing. Bruno was like Bambi on ice after any decent shot on the chin and had no survival instincts whatsoever but against McCall somebody was looking after him with McCall absolutely windmilling the fuck out of it and somehow nothing connecting.

Watched the doc last night, cheers Sold. Good documentary and it reminded me of when he finally won the title against McCall, that was one long last round! One has to wonder what Tyson would have been like if Cus D'Amato had been say 20 years younger and been there for his whole career. Tyson and King was always going to end in tears.

Yeh, was a good documentary. Remember a mob of us piling into a mate’s flat to watch it.
They used to line up a mug-a-month for Frank to knock out, but as soon as it got serious, you knew what was coming.
The bit saying goodbye to his daughter tugged at the heartstrings.
Still, he done well outside the ring and hopefully he’s in good health after all his problems.

Watched this last night, really good and bought back memories of watching the first fight.

I’d never seen the sports personality clip, that was a bit of a low blow to Frank. Nice guy that they took advantage of too much. Felt bad for him.

Re: Bruno v Tyson
Yep you could see the fear in Franks eyes on the ring walk in the second fight. As said tho no disgrace in that Mike Tyson at his best was destroying everyone. A great champion and sad to seeing him losing against journeymen like Danny Williams and Kevin McBride
